So I’ll start. Let me set the mood. Mom uses the bathroom and I’m trying to explain to her as always to wipe herself. She didn’t want to.

Me: Didn’t your mother teach you to wipe yourself after you use the bathroom.

Mom: No, maybe your mother did… but mine didn’t.

    My Nana calls me every other family members name but my own. I was shocked one day she did finally say my name and then said “What do you think, I am stupid.” LOL my jaw dropped, that day she knew who I was. It was hilarious, she sometimes makes me think she is faking dementia. I know she is not but those moments she makes family laugh is pricesless.

      Yes.. yes with dementia they have moments when they understand and comprehend everything. I’m so glad you had a good laugh!
